Welcome to the Realm of Astaris Wiki[]

The Realm of Astaris was a campaign setting created for Dungeons & Dragons' Fifth Edition by Salem Moon, Andrew Lachapelle and Colton Santomango.

The Purpose of Astaris[]

Astaris was created on order to give a base for Dungeon Masters to make campaigns out of, allowing for multiple campaigns to link to each other, and making it easier for DMs to focus on making a plot and characters, rather than a world.

Astaris is a high-fantasy setting consisting of an earth-like world with multiple continents, countries, fantastical races, their societies, and their cultures. Many details of the setting, such as the planes, gods, and races, are taken from the official canon of D&D 5e. New elements from the official canon are continuously incorporated as new books and modules are released.

Primary Campaigns[]

The God Slayers[]

DM: Andrew Lachapelle. The Godslayers campaign follows a gang of intrepid adventurers in the northern realms of old Astaris, as they uncover a sinister plot.

Curse of Strahd/Vestige Campaign[]

DM: Salem Moon. The Vestige Campaign was the longest-running campaign of the group. What started as a run of the Curse of Strahd adventure soon turned into a globe-crossing journey of epic proportions, with massive battles, fights, romance and sacrifice. The campaign consisted of a variety of smaller arcs, ranging from time-travelling post-apocalyptic sagas to malevolent schemes by hordes of powerful dragons.

The Vestige One-Shot[]

DM: Salem Moon. This brief one-shot focused on a series of entirely new villains wreaking havoc in the world of Astaris.

The Dracolypmics[]

DM: Ben Dyke. A short 3-shot campaign, Ben's Dracolympics focuses on a group brought together in the newly-unified Draconia, who must investigate the murder of a high-ranking official in order to prove their innocence - and uncover a sinister conspiracy along the way.

The Moonheart Saga[]

DM: Salem Moon. The Moonheart saga is a seafaring adventure within the Mirage Sea region of Astaris. The campaign focuses on the exploits of Princess Ilsabeth, the last heir of the dying race of the Sea Elves, and their adventures across the Sea as they fight to reclaim their lost legacy. This is no easy feat, however, as the crew must trade blows with the mighty sea lords, the ruling council of the Mirage Sea.

Ravenscall[]

DM: Salem Moon. Ravenscall follows several servants of the Raven Queen, who must pass between the Shadowfell and overworld in order to enforce her bidding, and maintain the delicate balance between life and death.

Adventures are everywhere in Astaris, but heroes? They're hard to come by
